Snow in October - a wake up call for holiday saving.

Our region was hit by an early snowstorm yesterday.  For the record, it was the earliest we've ever had snow here.  Schools were cancelled today and I wonder how many kids woke up this morning wondering if it almost holiday time.

While a couple months may seem like an enternity to children, to us adults it means the holidays are just around the corner.  The early snow is our wake up call.  Have you saved enough for the holiday's this year?

It may be a bit late to start saving for this holiday season but it is not too early to start for next year.  Talk to your bank about setting an automatic transfer from checking to savings so when that we get our wake up call next year we're already up and having coffee.
